The Chic Party Week!
Before the presents get unwrapped under the tree, Chic Today got all wrapped up under the London stars and partied the week away in such style, Santa would never fit all the stories, outfits or cocktails onto his sleigh! Luckily our site has just enough room to give you a brief breakdown of the beats, bags and bubbles that made this a Chic week to remember…
Last Friday Chic Today ate, drank and danced the night away at the magnificent Mews of Mayfair, where their fabulous Passion Fruit Bellinis helped us to have a good knees up in the darkened decadence of their basement dance club (020 7518 9388)…
The first day of the week brought some Monday mayhem at Kaberet in Beak Street (020 7439 2229). Hip Hop beats made us bounce around the packed-out dance floor for one of the most fun-filled nights London has to offer…If you are lucky enough to get in to this urban-pearl-of-a-night, tomorrow (Xmas eve) promises to be a big one!
Wednesday delivered a mid-week Christmas party with nothing ‘mid’ about it - this was high-class festivities hosted in a brand new bar and lounge called Vendome (020 7052 9333) in Knightsbridge (previously Bardo). The metallic and marble monochrome was sexy and stylish. The interior was inspired by luxury high-end handbags, so you can imagine this is the place to meet the girls for catch-ups and cocktails.
Shoreditch kitsch brought Chic Today a thrilling Thursday at Lounge Lover, and with 19 pages of amazing cocktails it was no surprise that by the time we later arrived at Bungalow 8 at St Martin’s Lane Hotel, we were more than ready to dance. Yes, we even took off our Louboutins and jumped on the sofas! Pretentious? Bungalow? Do not listen to the rumours - it was crazysexycool and we shook it to the old skool jungle beats as best as our muscle memory would allow!
The Cuckoo Club on Swallow Street (020 7287 4300) provided the perfect place to finish off the week, for its final party night of the year…a great crowd and great tunes as usual, along with a few of the best Espresso Martinis in London made it a fabulous pre-Christmas celebration…
