Givenchy Launches Harvest Scents
Givenchy is the first perfumer which highlights the beautiful notes of the best annual flower harvests. In 2005, Givenchy created its first collection of vintage fragrances, each comprising one single harvest of an exquisite flower as the main note in the overall composition. Flowers are susceptible to the effects of nature and vary according to climatic and soil conditions. Perfumers usually combine flowers from different harvests to guarantee consistent quality in their fragrances, but some harvests are so unique and hence, overlooked.
Today, Givenchy introduces three more limited edition vintage Eau de Parfums in a luxurious coffret, each featuring an exceptional flower from the harvests of 2007:
Amarige Mimosa d’Inde 2007 Harvest

This radiant and uplifting fragrance, first created in 1991 by Dominique Ropion, has been rewarded with an exceptional harvest in 2007 - the Mimosa from the Tamil Nadu region in India. For the first time, the variation of Amarige will be reflected in an eau de parfum containing Mimosa Absolute, renowned for its richness and exceptional quality.
Organza Jasmine d’Egypte 2007 Harvest

Created in 1996 by Sophie Labbe, Organza paid homage to timeless femininity. Its enveloping, deeply rich sensuality has been enhanced with Jasmine from the Nile Delta in Egypt. The Nile Delta is renowned for the exceptional quality of its fertile land.
Very Irrésistible Givenchy Rose du Maroc 2007 Harvest

Created in 2003 by Dominique Ropion, Sophie Labbe and Carlos Benaim, this was the world’s first floral aromatic scent with a sparkling bouquet of roses and Star Anise at its heart. In 2007, the Very Irrésistible Givenchy Sensual Harvest, contains the Damascena Rose from the Dades Valley in Morocco.
