“Some pretend that students don’t have problems with finding accomodation…”

So reads the heading of a highly provocative advert published by the French student union Unef, whose recent shock campaign features a couple having to (so to speak) get jiggy with it on their sleeping parents’ bed. Erm,why? Well apparently French university students are finding it increasingly hard to find accomodation, and the advert has so far prompted the ministry of the Valerie Pecresse University to announce plans to refurbish 7.000 dorms and build 5.000 more by 2012.

We wonder if the advert will also prompt a new trend a deux…
