Piano Prodigy: Andrei Korobeinikov

London, UK–Last week, Chic Today was treated to a glittering classical music concert held at the refined Cadogan Hall, located near the equally refined Sloane Square.

Accompanied by the London Festival Orchestra and conducted by Ross Pople, Andrei Korobeinikov’s intensely passionate, virtuosic performance had the audience perched on the edge of their seats in rapt astonishment. The colourful and technically demanding programme included Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major and Schubert’s Klavierstucke 1 D.946, the notes of which flourished beneath his light and graceful touch.

Praised across the world as one of classical music’s most promising young performers, this 21-year old Russian-born prodigious pianist began his career at the tender age of 5 and has performed in over 20 countries spanning from Los Angeles to Prague. He has won numerous national and international awards and (as if that wasn’t enough) he graduated from the European Law University in Moscow with honours at the (jawdroppingly young) age of 17.

As this humble young gentleman took his final bow on stage, we couldn’t help but shout ‘bravo’ and join the audience in a standing ovation.
