A love story is usually tragic.  The greatest loves are not the teen-age romances of Romeo and Juliet with family politics.  No.  The greatest romances are those that stand the test of time.  Boring to the outsiders.  There is the absence of drama.  There is the evidence of being a team and what the rest of the world would look away from, is secretly what most people want, to be the old couple in love on a park bench.

From time to time I like to showcase a book, an author and outside resources that can help you in your search for love, romance, or show you a little more flesh.  This time, I want to show you something within.

I decided to draw attention to the love story of Drs Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, to show you it is possible, still, in this day and age to have this kind of relationship.   Now, before you even think of the word ‘boring’, wait a moment. They have literally made their relationship the center of their lives and through their demonstration of their 25-plus years together, have created tools to help people find the kind of partners that should be drawn to them.  They use their own lives to illustrate how this works and also invite many well respected teachers to offer courses through their center of learning focused on improving many areas within a person’s life. 

The interesting approaches they use, the multi-intelligences approach, offer a variety of ways to provide the learner the opportunity to draw into themselves the resources through distance learning, emails, in-house seminars, video, or even auditory methods.  Whatever helps you “get-it”. 

When you really look at it all, it is about becoming a better “YOU”.  It isn’t about trying to change anyone but yourself.  Before you start blaming and naming….my friends, the common denominator in every relationship is the person staring back in the mirror…you.
