London, UK–Yes, it’s official. From June 9-26 Karl Lagerfeld will set up an ‘ephemeral’ pop-up boutique within Dover Street Market (one of my favourite places on the whole planet). The temporary in-house Chanel corner will showcase a limited edition selection of RTW threads and shoes from his Metiers d’Arts Paris-Londres collection.

In the words of Lagerfeld himself, the collection  “is at the same time post-modern and romantic. It integrates a delicate punk sophistication.”

I am so excited I think I may have to go and lie down for a while…
