Lola Rose A/W 2008
Lola Rose is without a doubt one of my personal favourite jewellery brands. I adore the beautiful and feminine stones and there is certainly something sleek, sophisticated and elegant about the pieces. I was very excited to see the A/W 2008 collection designed by Nikki Gewirtz.
A selection of the new stones include:
Snowflake Obsidian, a soft black stone covered in pin-pricks of white and each piece is completely unique. Mookite makes its debut - possibly the most versatile stone of all with its warm multi-hues which possess chameleonic qualities that match whatever you are wearing, Red Tigers Eye is a warm glowing flame while Stripy Carnelian has a classic, almost ethereal quality. In typical Lola Rose fashion, the shapes and combinations continue to exuberate originality.
The simply exquisite range of rings include a huge collection of coloured gems, set in silver, and crowned by the new star Hexagon and the Crystal Top. The ovals of sheer gemstones combined with mother of pearl create a stunning shimming pearlescent effect. Pendants come in multi faceted teardrops or smooth spheres, with berry lariats and beaded tassels. Bracelets are smooth and arched, faceted or block bangles in a myriad of colours. Necklaces focus on colour combinations both clashing and complimentary, single-strands of alternating shapes and colours or impactful multi-strands. Simply divine!
UK Stockists of the Lola Rose collection include Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Liberty and House of Fraser.
