Andy Warhol’s Last Supper in Italy

Without a doubt, Andy Warhol is one of the most iconic figures of our time, and his work is as controversial as it is fascinating. For those of you lucky enough to be in Sondrio (Italy) today, make sure you head to the Grand Hotel Della Posta (p.zza Garibaldi 19), where from 4pm to 12am, you will be able to admire one of Warhol’s infamous Last Supper paintings (and all for free…)
Made with the artist’s signature silk-screen technique, his Last Supper paintings were his last major series before his death, subjecting Leonardo’s masterpiece to a multitude of clever manipulations.
